I buried my sex in a box in the yard
And my gentleness is molding in the basement under the stairs
My dreams swing hidden in a basket in the trees
I left my soul in the attic folded under the eaves
Threw my creativity in the gutter as I passed
And soak nightly in my tears in a rust stained bath
Crash glass at my need and lock it in a closet
Now I yell and fight and evil fills these holes
I gave my self to others and was not my own mother
I have to gather them back up somehow
And I remember them all but I forget where to look
